Let's be serious, this has turned into a blog with things I love, Supernatural, Once Upon A Time, whatever I fancy at the moment.

Originally, it was to talk about my feelings and things that pissed me off and just vent. This is the outlet. This is where I go to, duh, be uncensored. I hate letting people in and letting them know what I'm thinking because I have a fear of being judged, being put down and being "hated" on. Here it is, this is me on the inside, this is my safe place, this is where I go to vent, or just to talk about my feelings like the girl I am. Trust me when I say I've gone through enough with people and putting me down. The levee is about to break with me and I've gotten to the point in life (and frankly, just realized in general) that if you're not helping, you're hurting. So hurt if you must, but know that this time will be the last time. There will be no exceptions anymore, (which is a lie, if I need put in my place, fine, but I'm the judge here so if you feel you must say something, tread quite lightly) you will be de-friended in life as well as the world of the internet. Proceed with caution and know that I'm letting you in, so be careful with me, because I'm a lot more fragile than you realize.

Vote for Tyson, please?

Vote here: http://celebcharitychallenge.org/ and his charity, Don’t Hate on Haiti can win 10,000 Euros.  You’ll have to search for him because he’s the lowest rank possible (he only needs 35,000 votes to take top spot right now.)  You can vote once a day and he probably won’t win this round but vote and maybe he’ll win next round.

So go, vote, spread the word, you don’t have to sign up for anything, just give your name like once and then they’ll send you emails daily to remind you to vote.  I mean, who doesn’t want to give his charity $10,000 by clicking a button?

He’s in 32 place, top spot only has 4,500 votes. Let’s get his charity some money!

I’ll never forget when we started out, the beat of the drum, a face in the crowd.

Let’s just talk about the important things, because it was my favorite band so of course I’ll say they were amazing.

A friendly gentleman named Landen approached the line as we were waiting to talk to us about his band, Jocelyn.  Check it out, because he was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and that band is going somewhere.  So check it out because then you’ll be able to say, “I knew them before they were famous.”

Before the concert, my mother was making friends, because that’s how she is.  Yes, I’m 25 and I took my mother.  More importantly, we were all pretty good at talking to random people.  If someone around us left for something, the group of random strangers all there to see if bands stuck together and saved their spot.  Parachute opened, I had no idea who they were, but they were fabulous.  There was no disappointment with them.  Their set ended, I helped saved the spot next to me so two girls could go meet them, then the Rejects.  I’ll just touch on the things that I want to not forget.  Waldo, she was there and it was amazing.  He pulled someone onstage to dance with him, which makes me sad but so happy for that girl. When Tyson introduced everyone, especially Mike because he was shy and adorable.  Lastly, seeing that they’re all still such good friends after 10 years.

Quick anger note, I wanted a set list. That’s it just a set list. My friend got a towel, I needed a set list, we had two different ones in our hands and it fell over the barricade and twice the same security guard picked them up and took them to the other side and threw them. UGH.

So, their set was over and Boys Like Girls were next, and we were in the front, and I know two of their songs.  Earlier, when I was saving spots for two girls so they could meet Parachute another girl asked if she could have their spot if they weren’t back by the time BLG came on because it was her favorite band.  So my friend and I are standing there and talking, about how I’ll still be able to see from the back of the room, how she’s okay with getting out of the crowd because she doesn’t really know them either, about how mad I would be if my favorite band was playing and a girl was in front of me that didn’t know anything about them.  We agreed on this feeling and gave our spots up, to random people that we only knew for that night, because it was their favorite band, because it would mean more to them than it would to us, the girl who’s favorite band was BLG was really hesitant to take my spot and after a lot of insisting, she finally accepted.

Then, we’re all hanging out in the back and I decided I was going to go back to the merch table, because I have some money left and I really liked Parachute, so I went back and saw the tiniest little sign about Valiant watches and that you could buy one there.  This is double amazing because I’ve been going back and forth on buying one and now it’s here and I don’t have the excuse of “Well I’d have to pay shipping” to give myself.  I wanted one and they had them and a portion of the proceeds goes to Tyson’s charity, Don’t Hate on Haiti.  So I bought one and this is where it gets really awesome, the guy running it then told me that because of the purchase I got a private meet and greet with Tyson.

I’ve met him before, it was fast, a quick, “Hey sign this, please? Also, look at my ‘Move Along’ tattoo.”  This was better.  He sat down with us and told us how much it meant to him, because all of the proceeds goes to his charity and he was just so thankful.  He said he’d do anything we wanted, also that buying the watch, it meant he had to put it on.  I gave him my right wrist (the one with the tattoo, well played, I know) and he started putting the watch on and stopped and then made the camera guy come take a picture, who had no idea what it said and Tyson said, “Move along!” pretending to be upset that he didn’t know and I said, “Yeah, it’s the song that pretty much saved my life.”  Another girl was talking to him, so I took the opportunity to get Mike and Nick to sign my poster so they could leave because they were tired.  Mike actually said, “It’s past my bedtime,” and I said, “You’re a rock star though.” He said, “Yeah, but my body fights it.” I pet Dexter! Which I was dying to do especially because I saw Nick walking him before the show but I didn’t want to bother him and he was on the phone.  Tyson hunted my friend and I down and we talked about life, he asked if I was in school and I said, “No, it’s a long ‘I didn’t know what I was doing so I dropped out’ story.” And he responded with, “Does anybody though?”  He told me I don’t look 25, also that I reminded him of his sister, and then I told him I was a crazy fangirl that facebook creeped him and found out that I have the same middle name as his sister, which is really not a common middle name.  He was excited (or trying to pretend to not be creeped out) about it.  We ended up just kind of standing there because random people showed up, and Chris started leaving so I ran over real fast and told him I was sorry and asked him to sign my poster and then he could go.  We started leaving and Tyson ran after us and gave us hugs and said thanks again.

We got out and my friend realized she didn’t tell Tyson about the mean security guard, so she ran over to him when he came out and she told him, and he sent someone else to get it for us.  So we got a set list.  And those are the big things.  The things I have to remember forever.

Another thing I have to remember forever? Tyson Ritter is crazy and insane and hilarious on stage, he’s so different off stage.  He was sweet and so genuinely happy about the donation to his charity and so not what I expected after everyone was gone.  He was calm, and it wasn’t a tired thing.  He has a stage persona and it’s so different from off stage.  Both places, he gives the room energy but it’s just so, different.  I was nervous the whole day about meeting him for five seconds at the meet and greet.  I got nauseous when I saw Nick and Chris before the show because of nerves and when I found out about the private thing I was really excited, but way more nervous.  He just, the way he acted it was like we knew each other forever, that we were best friends that hadn’t seen each other in a while so we were catching up.  He made me not nervous, he made me feel comfortable.  In a way, I’ve known him for ten years because I’ve listened to their music for so long, but it felt like it was mutual friendship. The entire band is just a group of people that I’d love to hang out with for the day, just to see what kind of adventure we could have.

Dex’s Day Off with Nick Wheeler from The All-American Rejects

Dex is one of the cutest dogs I’ve ever seen.

all-americanrejects:

I went to a few meet and greets this tour so I have two extra posters that the band signed. I’m gonna give them away, so just like or reblog this post to be entered! I can ship them on the weekend of October 6th, so I’ll stop taking entries then.
You can reblog as many times as you want and such :) Good luck!
